Hussain Sajwani: Transforming Dubai’s Real Estate Industry through Damac Properties

It is through the innovativeness, hard-work, and dedication of Hussain Sajwani that Damac Properties has managed to conquer Dubai’s real estate industry for the last 15 years. A close friend and business associate to President Donald Trump, Hussain has developed some of the most eye-catching projects in Dubai and other cities in the Middle East.

Trump and Hussain Joint Investments

Trump and Hussain, two billionaires with an undying appetite for investments, recently invested in a couple of golf courses in Dubai. The Trump International Golf Course Dubai was commissioned in 2013 in one of Damac’s development sites and completed in four years. The course was launched earlier this year.

The second golf course, the Trump World Golf Course, is already under construction and is expected to be completed and launched before 2019. The uniqueness of this golf course is that Tiger Woods, a legend in golf, was involved in its designing. Once complete, the golf course will cement the good business relationship that the two businessmen have enjoyed over the years.

After Donald Trump had won the last American presidential vote, Hussain Sajwani was among the first people to congratulate the then president-elect. He exuded confidence in that Damac Properties’ business ties with the president would continue thriving even after assuming office. Before he was sworn in, Donald Trump held a celebrations party at Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida where Hussain Sajwani and his family were invited. During the event, Trump described Hussain Sajwani family as the most beautiful people.

Hussain’s Philanthropy

In September 2013, the Damac owner made a donation of AED two million to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Ramadan Initiative. The Dubai Prime Minister established the initiative as a way of helping children born of impoverished parents to shake off poverty. The initiative donates clothes and other basic amenities to these children who are drawn from all corners of the globe.

Speaking after making the donation, Hussain said that his company was impressed by the work Sheikh Mohammed was doing and was committed to helping him achieve his goals. He added that children are the face of the future and must, therefore, be allowed to grow in a favorable environment.
